Question: Does your system work with Li-on Batteries?
Answer: Absolutely, the DJI FPV drone mod can be paired with Li-ion batteries. In fact, Aircruiser has crafted a dedicated case for them. However, after discussing his findings, he pointed out that the advantages of using Li-ion batteries might not be as significant as one would hope. The DJI FPV drone has a built-in low voltage cut-off that ensures it lands safely when the voltage drops. This feature means that, unlike some non-DJI counterparts that can take full advantage of the lower voltages of Li-ion batteries for extending flight times, the DJI FPV drone simply can’t. Given the added weight of Li-ion batteries along with the drone’s hard voltage cut-off, the overall benefits might not justify their use.
Question: Do you sell internationally?
Answer: Yes I do both the Turn key version and the 3D print cases. But please be aware that the item will be more expensive as it will incur international fees.

Question: Do you offer a complete system for purchase? I’d prefer not to deal with soldering or working with circuit boards.
Answer: Yes there is. It is under the PRODUCT Page:

Question: Why does the turn key option cost so much more:
Answer: The turn key option cost are broken down in the following way.
Since we do not manufacture these boards ourselves, we source them from the original FPV drone batteries.
DJI FPV Drone batteries range from $70 to over $120
AircruiserFPV chargers for his board: $145
The cost for 3D printing the battery cage and enclosure is $48. However, this cost is not included in the final price, which is $156.
In summary, the $156 covers only the battery for the BMS board and the AirCruiserFPV board. Effectively, this means the 3D printed parts and hardware come at no extra charge!
It’s important to note that we are actually operating at a loss with this turn-key system, but financial gain is not our primary goal; our focus is on supporting and helping the FPV community!
Question: Can we use other batteries then the recommended SMC battery?
Answer: Yes, so long as they do not exceed the following dimensions:
79mm x 36mm x 39mm (L x W x H)
Please note that my cage setup is specifically designed for the SMC battery. While you are welcome to try other batteries, we cannot guarantee that they will fit properly.
Question: Is there anything else that I need for the “Turn key” Version?
Answer: Yes there is, the SMC battery, linked under the assembly parts “Not Included“
Question: What is the expected delivery time for the Turn Key system?
Answer: Give us two weeks
Question: Does your company generate profit from these products? If so, does it get reinvested back into the drone community?
Answer: No, we do not generate a profit from these products. While we would love to earn income from them to fund further development and create innovative offerings for the community, that simply isn’t practical or our primary goal. At Drone Photography Studio, our focus is solely on supporting the community. As much as we wish we could give these products away for free, it’s not feasible due to the extensive research and development that goes into creating and manufacturing these unique boards. The processes of soldering, assembly, testing, and inspection all require considerable time and resources. Additionally, this is a side project for us, and we are truly excited to share it with the community, as it is not our main profession.
Question: Why do you charge for the 3D prints and why not let the customer print them?
Answer: We charge for the 3D prints primarily to cover the costs of materials, electricity, and the printing process, ensuring that each product meets our high standards for quality and precision. By printing in-house, we maintain strict quality control and can quickly address any alignment issues, providing our customers with a reliable and polished final product. Allowing customers to print them themselves could lead to inconsistencies in quality and fit, which we want to avoid to ensure a seamless experience for you as the pilot.

Question: Do you sell batteries that work with the DJI FPV Drone?

Answer: No, we don’t offer refunds or returns, but we would be happy to provide customer support via Discord if you need any assistance.
Question: Do we collect, share, sell your data?
Answer: No we do not. We do not handle transactions directly. All payments are processed through a third-party e-commerce platform called Shopify. As a result, we adhere to their Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, Cookie Policy, Refund and Returns Policy, and Shipping Policy.
Question: Does the battery status display in the OSD of the goggles?
Answer: Yes, it does. As mentioned on the development page of the AirCruiserFPV system, you can choose whether to display voltage or percentage, though the voltage display is generally more accurate.
Question: How would you evaluate the quality of your work?
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry! We truly appreciate your interest. It’s important to highlight that although this is not our full-time pursuit and we don’t operate a large manufacturing team or facility, we are deeply committed to crafting each assembly by hand. Our dedication drives us to deliver the finest quality possible, even within these constraints. Your understanding and support mean the world to us!
Question: Do you offer a warranty for your work?
Answer: Unfortunately, we do not provide a warranty. Once our product is in perfect working condition and leaves our hands, we cannot guarantee it against accidents, crashes, misuse, or battery-related issues.
Question: What does the notification mean “Battery lifespan reached”?
Answer: Yes, you will see it displayed in the lower right corner, but it does not affect operations or performance in any way. Feel free to disregard it.
