In this discussion, we are focusing on enhancements to the AirCruiserFPV design. Previous articles have demonstrated that the testing results of this system are reliable and robust; however, there are several improvements that must be addressed, particularly regarding the housing and mounting of the device.

The container housing the BMS and the breakout board required attention. The front finish was unappealing due to a step that complicated the 3D printing process. Additionally, the area above the plug-in also needed improvement.

61 Grams for the improved version, 2grams heavier then the original AirCruiserFPV set empty.

AirCruiserFPV Original weight: 121 grams, no battery.

Battery cage: 29 Grams

Board container is: 82 Grams

The 3D print totally empty is 49 grams

AirCruiserFPV Break out board is 18 Grams

112 grams without battery a saving of 9 grams from the original AirCruiserFPV setup with out battery.

When fully assembled with the battery, the enhanced AirCruiserFPV system weighs only 37 grams more than the original DJI battery.
18 of those grams are the breakout board.
The original AirCruiserFPV system, equipped with a 1400mAh SMC battery, weighed 332 grams.
In conclusion:
The new and improved AirCruiserFPV system has successfully reduced weight by 8 grams. That may not sound like much but that is significant!
